A new 430 V8 engine produced a smoother and quieter ride. |
1967 Buick Riviera
With the exception of a new grill, taillamps and slightly altered rocker moldings, the Buick Riviera remained much of the same for 1967. The excitement came with the announcement of the introduction of the new 430 V8 with 360hp that was now the highest rated standard engine of any muscle car. The new engine was reported to be much smoother, quieter and breathed better. Sales remained steady with 42,799 models produced. The Rivera’s elegant clean lines mark it as one of America’s great luxury cars. Standard is power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, automatic transmission, and a ventilation system that provides a draft free flow of outside air with windows closed.1967 Buick Riviera Production Numbers
