1970 Ford F100 Pickups, "Works like a Truck, Rides like a Car." |
1970 Ford F-100
Again in 1970 Ford’s claim of “Work like a Truck, Rides like a Car” is due to the Twin-I-Beam front suspension while coil springs cushion the ride. Beside the popular suspension, standard features of the Ford Trucks were 3-speed manual transmission, color-keyed interior, courtesy door light switches, Hi-Dri all-weather ventilation, deluxe fresh air heater , ashtray, glove compartment, deluxe instrument cluster bezel, seat belts, and more. The Ford light-duty trucks had new features in 1970 including a new grille with a grid-pattern divided at the center by a vertical bar. Styleside and Flareside versions were offered in either 6.5 ft or 8 ft. cargo box lengths.1970 Ford Production Numbers
