Buick Roadmaster

The Buick Roadmaster was first introduced in 1936 when Buick renamed its entire model line-up to celebrate the engineering advancements and improved new looks. The Roadmasters were built on Buick's longest wheelbase and shared its basic structure with Oldsmobiles. The Roadmaster was offered as a premium well appointed vehicle, that was produced with several options and was offered as a sedan, convertible, coupe, and station wagon that featured the wood sides. In 1959 Buick introduced the Electra name that took its place in the model line up. In 1991 Buick began applying the Roadmaster name on the Estate Wagon and on also the sedan in 1992.
