Chevrolet Brookwood |
First offered in 1958 the Chevrolet Brookwood station wagon was Chevys offering for its mid-priced 4 door six or nine passenger station wagon. In 1959 Chevrolet dropped the Delray model and the Biscayne became Chevrolet's least expensive model. Tied to the Biscayne, the Brookwood 2 and 4 door model became the entry-level station wagon for Chevrolet. In 1962 Chevrolet discontinued the Brookwood replacing their station wagons after their series names: Biscayne, Bel Air and Impala. In 1969 the Brookwood was back as each Chevy station wagon got its own model name. Brookwood was assigned to the least expensive model. For 1973, Chevrolet eliminated the Biscayne and ended production of vehicles bearing the Biscayne and Brookwood names.
