1957 Chrysler 300

Part of the New Yorker Series, the Chrysler 300 was the 3rd version offfered by 1957 and continued to be on of the most fastest and powerful production car with 375 horsepower. In a Chrysler run test, the 300 went 145.7 mph. Emblems such as a round medallion, with a red-white-blue-background and model numbers and lettering distinguished the 300. Both inside and out monotone colors were used exclusively on the 300 and featured full leather interior trims. Another special feature included brake-cooling air intakes below the headlights which allowed air to be guided to the front brakes. Only a total of 2,402 Chrysler 300's were produced for this year which makes it a highly sought after vehicle among car collectors and Chrysler enthusiasts.   .
