1970 Buick Riviera
In 1970 the Buick Riviera was introduced with new styling changes. A new vertical textured grill, standard rear fender skirts and the elimination of the retractable headlamps may have been the down fall as sales declined and dropped drastically for 1970. Among a positive note for the performance seekers was the introduction of the new standard 455 V8, 370hp engine with 510 lb-ft of torque. Production total for the '70 Riviera included 37,366 models sold.1970 Buick Riviera Production Numbers
